The Trafford and Stockport College Group is partnering with Stockport Council and local sector employment organisations to launch the One Stockport Health and Social Care Career Academy in 2026.
The Academy offers an accessible route for learners who want to start or progress their career further in Health and Social Care. By combining the expertise, networks and resources of both the college group and Stockport Council and partners, the Academy provides high-quality training, practical experience and strong employer partnerships.

Digital Skills Academy
The Academy will empower adult learners looking to upskill and employers developing their workforce.
Adults can develop the relevant skills, confidence and qualifications to open doors to new opportunities and launch successful careers in high-growth digital sectors. Employers will be able to future-proof their workforce with flexible and accredited Continuous Professional Development (CPD) training tailored to current industry needs.

Eligibility
- Are you unemployed and claiming a benefit aged 19 + (by the 31st August last year)
- If a foreign national, you must have been a resident in the UK for three years or more
- If employed earnings must be no more than £25k per annum
- You must be a Greater Manchester resident looking to upskill and go back into employment to access this opportunity.
