The T Level in Accounting is aimed at preparing you for a career as an Assistant Accountant. Assistant Accountants are tasked with supporting qualified accountants within the business and finance function.
They are involved in a wide range of accounting tasks, from report preparation to ledger maintenance, bank statements reconciliation and cash flow forecasting.
In the classroom you will be working independently, or in groups to solve accounting problems. You will be researching and designing an innovative solution to a business issue, and then presenting your findings to the group. You’ll also have a chance to practice your new skills in the workplace.
On successful completion of your T Level you may wish to continue your studies at university or you may want to look at entering the workplace. Career opportunities may include job roles such as accountant, administrator/assistant, purchasing/ sales, ledger clerk, payroll assistant, or tax assistant.
