Course Requirements

4 GCSEs at grade 2 or above including maths and English.

What you will Learn

This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the aviation industry. You will gain insights into the structure and scope of the sector, understand key terminology, and explore the geography of airports and flight routes. The programme also focuses on essential skills such as customer service and teamwork, preparing you for entry-level roles in aviation.

Specialist lecturers from the airline and aviation industry will deliver the sessions, ensuring you benefit from real-world expertise.

Assessment

The course is assessed by means of assignments, projects, role plays and case study work. Students will also need to source a 1-week industry placement previous placements have been at Premier Inn, Manchester Museum, Holiday Inn Express, Manchester Airport, Travel Agents, Chill Factor and Eurocamp.

Exam fees will be payable for students who are 19 or over.
